Our half-day workshops on Lean are becoming legendary!
We run half-day in-house awareness sessions for senior management teams of 6-12 people to understand more about Lean. You provide a room and we will come to you. Reducing the time and travel costs to your organisation.
Half a day is not long enough to turn managers into Lean experts, but our experience of over 150 half-day Lean seminars is that it is long enough for managers to appreciate why Lean Systems Thinking is different to other improvement approaches and for them to consider how it can help them meet their own strategic objectives.
The main topics covered will be:
- What is the background to Lean Systems Thinking?
- What can Lean deliver in a council?
- The difference between committing to a full Lean process and using individual Lean tools
- Lessons learned from previous public sector Lean implementations
- How does a successful Lean journey look like and how can we plan it?
The workshop will be a mixture of presentation, practical exercises and discussions on the use of Lean Thinking and the individual tools.
