Launch of the Thames Gateway Constructing Excellence
25/10/2006On the 24th of October Ad Esse were pleased to support the launch of the new Thames Gateway Constructing Excellence. The Club will act as a forum for discussing, sharing and learning about construction best practice within the Gateway. The Gateway stretches from the City of London to the mouth of the Thames encompassing large amounts of land including the site of the 2012 Olympics.
The event was held at the stunning Cabot Hall, Canary Wharf, London. 300 guests heard presentations from a range of speakers including Ros Dunn; Thames Gateway Director of Strategy, Department for Communities and Local Government and Huw Edwards; Stakeholder Manager, Olympic Delivery Authority.
Joan Hillcock, chair, expressed her delight at the level of attendance and hopes future events will be as well attended.
The first event is being held on the 28th of November at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets town hall. Ad Esse director Philippe Lacey will present on the subject ‘Reducing Waste in construction by applying Lean techniques.’
