Culture is poor

Challenge icon culture is poorAs transformation specialists who use Lean Thinking as our prime philosophy, we know that continuous improvement involves more than creating excellent processes. For sustainable achievement, it’s as much about culture as processes. We also know that a training programme, masses of projects or developing a new set of values, does not create a new culture. A new culture will develop when people begin to do things differently and then start to think differently. Which is why we will help you by:

  • Identifying and communicating absolutely clear priorities
  • Working on end-to-end reviews of what you do to create cross functional commitment to improvement and co-operation between teams
  • Establishing what we call Lean Foundations, to involve staff at all levels in improvement – visual management, measuring the right things, having standard ways of doing things
  • Developing problem-solving skills so that gradually problems are removed by staff themselves
  • Giving people time, space and skills to think about new ways of working.

It is all about focus, and a planned approach, giving staff meaningful priorities, making improvements that can be sustained, then celebrating their success.
