You can come to us
Half a day is not long enough to turn managers into experts in transforming your organisation, but our experience of over 200 free workshop events is that it is long enough for managers to appreciate why Lean Thinking is different to other improvement approaches and for them to consider how it can help them meet their own strategic objectives.
The workshop will be a mixture of presentation, practical exercises and discussions on transformation and the individual tools to enable success.
These sessions are free and open to anyone in a public, not-for-profit or charity organisation that is considering an organisational transformation project.
Please see the dates below for more information.
“The content and facilitation can be summed up in one word…phenomenal!”
“The best course I have been on in a very long time.”
We can come to you
Covering the same topics as our London seminars, we can run a free workshop in-house awareness session for senior management teams of 6-12 people.
We understand it can be hard for senior people to get time away from the office so we hope this will limit the time and travel costs to your organisation.
This option enables you to develop your understanding as a team and find out if Lean is going to deliver the results you need.
You provide a room and we will come to you within the UK at no cost.
Upcoming Workshop Dates
Wallacespace St Pancras, 22 Duke’s Road, London, WC1H 9PN. The venue is an 8 minute walk from St Pancras and King’s Cross and only 4 minutes from Euston Station.
Introduction to Lean Thinking – Reducing Costs: Changing Culture, Improving Services
Many accept that Lean Thinking is probably the best way of creating the cultural and process improvements needed for the challenging times that we are facing today; allowing organisations to improve service quality and reduce costs at the same time.
Reduced and stretched funding is forcing public sector, not-for-profit and charity organisations to reconsider which services they will provide, and how best to deliver them.
This seminar will cover how to achieve permanent and continuous improvement in performance and how to avoid the all too common story of a succession of service reviews that promise so much but then fail to deliver in the long term.
- How to maximise benefits from limited resources
- How Lean Thinking can deliver sustainable performance improvement
- Practical implementation of transformation
- How to create in-house capability swiftly
- Case studies from relevant organisations
Who should attend our Lean Thinking Seminars?
Leaders and managers who want to know how Lean Thinking can drive sustainable performance improvement in their operations despite budget cuts or reduced income.
Who will lead the seminar?
The session will be led by one or both of our Directors; Rhiannon Gibbs and Gurdeep Gahir, both of whom are 20+ year transformation veterans, who have over the years helped many public sector, not-for-profit and charity organisations apply and benefit from Lean Thinking.
In the last six months we have achieved a 100% satisfaction rating for all our Lean Thinking events.
“The material was interesting, well presented, easy to understand, compelling and delivered with verve and enthusiasm by an expert who not only knows his subject but loves it too. In short this was some of the best training I’ve ever had anywhere in my professional life.”
